This year we all have been confined at a certain point or another to our homes. Inspired by Iceland came up with an ingenious way to help people release the frustration while promoting Iceland’s beautiful nature.
Well it worked!
We decided to trade the seaside for 2 weeks in a camper van around this fairy-tale land.
We welcome all tips on photogenic places and hikes(for Pavel Dudek Photography) whale watching, puffin watching, Icelandic horses interactions and hot water soaks (for me).
You can also try venting it out – whatever you need to vent out… Just be careful what you scream, we might hear you somewhere over there 😂
As we embarked on a journey to explore the 100 National Tourist Sites in Bulgaria, we quickly realized there is no online map in English.
Pavel’s Bulgarian is very good, but museums in Bulgaria do have long names and for the non-native speaker it can really become a challenge when names seem kind of similar.
As solution-driven individuals, we used a similar Google map, made by the wonderful planinar.org and we updated and translated so it would be easier for any enthusiast to make a travel itinerary for a weekend, a week, or why not even longer.
It is a public map that you can share with absolutely anyone you feel like.
Enjoy you trip and drop us a line!
100 National Tourist Sites is a movement of the Bulgarian Tourist Association that promotes places of significance in the country.

For years I have been intending to start a travel blog. I always found excuses not to: too little time, too much work/studies/too much effort, workpublicity limitations, etc…
So why do it now? 2019 was a remarkable year and ended in an even more remarkable way fulfilling my childhood dream to travel to Australia.
I also breached my personal travel record within a year, caught up with awesome people I had lost touch with, met some new inspiringly successful, bald and charmingly nutty ones, visited and experienced places that made me think twice about what is important in life, burned out at least once, while getting too much into my work and personal projects, made new starts, also put a few long-delayed ends…and all this in the year I turned 30.
And I guess the travel blog made it to my New Years Resolution for 2020, which I should probably write down so I keep it at least this year 🙂
Hope you will enjoy some of the info, tips and travel stories of a moderate traveller mixing in urban, cultural, wildlife, nature hikes and scenic spots explorations.
